    2017 Playoffs (other games) Non-Rangers

Non Ranger related (kind of) for the sole purpose of easy access.

So here we go.......Still a few regular season games to finish, just a few thoughts.

With our Rangers popping over to visit the Atlantic, tonights Boston/Ottawa game is especially relevant to who ends up playing a team they may not want to face in the 1st round.......like the nbc crew said.........do everything you can to avoid the Caps, by not ending up in that 2nd WC position.

Ottawa/Boston and Toronto. Right now, Toronto would love to vacate that spot, but could indeed end up giving the Caps everything they could handle, should they go at it. Personally would LOVE Boston matching up with them as they are an experienced , heavy and good possession team and even if they don't knock off the Caps it accomplishes 2 things.

We won't have to play the Bruins down the road, and they could bang up the Caps a bit.

Boston/Ottawa play tonight and 2 days later they play us in Ottawa.
In the meantime, Toronto plays HOME to Tampa, Pitt and the Jackets to make or break them.

I would bet the house on Boston vs Ottawa tonight, and to a lesser extent vs the Caps (they may rest some), but still would take a shot with getting a goal or 1 1/2 especially. That's my gambling tip for the day, lol.

P.S. There is going to be lots to talk about here, so let's here it baby! And don't forget..........LETS FREAKING GO RANGERS!

I'd love to see that dirty play by Marchand end up costing Boston...resulting in a first-round matchup with Washington.

Good pick Oz, I think the Hawks are ready to rock back into the title game. Sharks are still a scary team, so don't count them out just yet. Inexperience and poor play of late will hurt the Wild.

    Patty, Jobby

I know, it's tough to hide but I've always been a big Hawks guy. I've loved that franchise since I was a little kid. The Rangers are always #1 in my heart and soul, but there's just something about that Red and Black that gets me! That being said, if it ain't us, I'm all for JT and Kane!
