    [QUOTE=paddynyc;103446]Hi Frank

    It is although I have not watched any of that yet. Worth a read if you want demented entertainment.

    Taking a mid-book break from Dexter to read TED Talks - The Official TED Guide to Public Speaking.

    There's a method to my madness. I need to pitch a project in a few months and really need to mesmerize a group.

    I'm pretty disappointed with myself. I haven't picked up a book since i was transferred on my job in april. I'd have been thru at least 5 or 6 books by now.

    I finished Feminist Philosophies of Life, then I read Looptail by Bruce Poon Tip, who is the founder of G Adventures, the tour company we booked our trip to Japan with. G Adventures is a sustainable, responsible company, they use local accomodations, local travel, such as buses, trains, boats etc. and other local stuff because they want the money people spend to stay in these communities. They are also environmentally sustainable and every tour includes a stop at one heritage site at least. The book is about how he built his company and what inspired him to do so. It was a quick read, but it was very good.
    "For mine is a generation that circles the globe and searches for something we haven't tried before. So never refuse an invitation, never resist the unfamiliar, never fail to be polite and never outstay the welcome. Just keep your mind open and suck in the experience. And if it hurts, you know what? It's probably worth it."-Alex Garland, The Beach
